Irish Word of the Week with the Irish Arts Center NYC

For the third chapter of the Irish Arts Center NYC’s Irish Word of the Week series, I was invited to collaborate with curator Darach Ó Séaghda of Motherfoclóir and @TheIrishFor fame on six illustrations on the theme of Irish mythology.

Being involved in this series is a real honour - not only being chosen to represent the aul sod, but to be doing so with the like of Fatti Burke (THE Fatti Burke!), Eoin Whelehan and more.

Given the nature of the Irish Arts Center - a celebration of the Irish diaspora and our success story abroad, I decided to donate my fee for this series to refugee support charities here in Brussels, where I now live. If you would like to do the same, you can find more information here, or check out charities and citizens groups operating where you live. Let’s not pull the ladder up behind us.

Prints of these illustrations will be available here in the shop.
